First things first, others blog...I prefer to think of it as simply keeping your in the loop. That being said, don't read this with a commanding eye for detail and grammatical correctness, I have better things to do, like see things that were around before Jesus, so I won't be redlining these like I'm turning in a thesis. You can tell me about all my mistakes later...never mind, I won't care then either. Love you.

We made it!! Ragan and I have always wanted to take a meandering trip through Europe and soak it all in. The culture, the people, the food, the history...everything old and crusty! And although this trip went from meandering to charging through Europe, that's fine, we'll get to experience and see so much in the six weeks we're here. This blog will be a simple and fun way to keep anyone who wants to know what's going on with us while we're here. If that's you, feel free to subscribe and join in on the fun!

So by the time you read this the big news is (*drum roll please*) Ragan and I are unexpectedly EXPECTING and are 12 weeks preggo! Get out you say! That's right, we might have dated for almost 4 years, but we got engaged, married and pregnant in less than 1! (Please, no need for spring chicken comments here) We weren't even thinking about making Juniors until we were here or when we got back, but clearly God had another plan entirely! To say that we were in shock is really an understatement, but we are SUPER excited and looking forward to what the next few months hold in stage of life. In the past 5 years I've had to go to a fertility specialist due a condition that I  have and have undergone treatment and surgery and the thought was pretty much, "when you want to get pregnant, come talk to us." It was understood that we would probably need some level of intervention to get to this point. Well, our intervention was the Lord saying, "OHHHHH IT'S TIME!!"  To answer the first question that all girls ask, "how are you feeling?" Well, I have to say, that unless you told me I was pregnant I wouldn't know. For the first time I totally understand those girls I see on "Pregnant and Didn't Know It." I used to think...c'mon, you had to have SOME idea! You were growing another human being in there!! Well, I get it now. I have been incredibly blessed to have virtually no symptoms and that we became pregnant as easily as we did. That was truly a blessing from the Lord and I know we don't even have the full understanding of it yet! Please pray for our continued safety and for the protection and health of the pregnancy.

Places we are heading on this trip:
Belgium- Ghent, Brugge, & Brussels
Portugal- Lisbon & Porto
Spain- Madrid, Seville, & Barcelona
Italy- Rome, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Florence, Venice & Verona
Austria- Salzburg & Vienna
Germany- Munich & Heidelberg
Czech Republic- Prague

I think that covers them all, if you've been to any of these places and feel there is a MUST DO added to the list, we'd love to hear from you!!
